workshop craft activities program

Try our fun creative craft activities in the Peak District village of Tissington near Ashbourne - we offer drop in sessions and holiday workshops making jewellery, painting wellies and creating pretty gifts every Thursday, Friday and Sunday April to September in the afternoons - please phone first if you travel a long way.

you can paint and decorate your own wellies or buy our new ones

paint them with our special paint, and pin charms to them, stick gems to them - lots of choices

you can pick from our supplies and create your own designs

soap & cosmetics workshops

in a 2 hour fizzpotzz workshop session you can book just 1 or 2 places at £10 each to make all our fizzy treats. Depends who comes what we make, but you will always go home with a bag of fun soapy cosmetics. Places are limited and by advance booking only - next date

painted wellies have durable semi-permanent finish - will not wash off in rain or crack but will wear with vigorous rubbing - so when you're fed up of them you can scrub it all off and start again!!!

Carr Barn, Tissington, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. DE6 1RA

Tissington is a small traditional village 3 miles north of Ashbourne on the A515 Buxton road. Carr Barn is the first drive on the right when taking the northern turning into Tissington.

Approaching from Ashbourne, you pass under the new green bridge after Fenny Bentley, ignore the first stone gated turning signposted Tissington Village and continue 1/4 mile uphill to next right turn on a bend.

Approaching from Buxton, you pass turnings for Alstonefield and continue just under 2 miles. After long straight section there is a right bend, the left turning is on this bend.

You see the back of Carr Barn on the right in 25 yards. Open the gate and drive in. Please park with consideration.
