How do I know fizzpotzz products are safe?

All our products are independently assessed and approved for use by a Registered Pharmacist duly authorised according to the Cosmetic Products (Safety) Regulations 2004.  Each product is analysed and a statement made by the assessor that "Taking into account the general toxicological profile of each ingredient used, it's chemical structure and it's level of exposure, the presentation of the product, it's labelling and instructions for use , it is not liable to cause damage to human health when it is applied under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use."

This is the same standard applied to soaps and toiletries you find in every high street store. 

If you are offered a party, a kit or any other cosmetics making activity by another company, please be sure they have their recipes, methods and products assessed for safety, and insurance with specific product liability cover for the products you will make.  Of course, all of our products meet these standards before even being trialled.

We take safety very seriously, and have carried out our own safety assessments on the processes you will use at a party, to work with the children or adults participating. 

Fizzpotzz founder, Sheila Haswell is a qualified Health & Safety Practitioner - indeed spent 15 rather frustrated years working as a Health & Safety advisor for big companies.  Each instruction, whether in party leader training or in your party bucket has safe working practices incorporated.  Party bucket instructions include a risk assessment, full ingredients listings and safety advice with each process.

All ingredients are sourced from suppliers able to comply with requirements for providing relevant material safety data.  Every finished product you will make, and all supplies, are labelled with a full list of ingredients.

There are some people who have allergies to unusual ingredients, so if you or a guest are unsure, please contact us before ordering. 

Whilst we do not supply any products containing nuts, we are not able to guarantee a nut free supply chain..
